There are many good reasons to contact an interior designer. Sometimes it’s just time or a lack there of. I have clients with wonderful taste that simply don’t have the time to research products and/or find good subcontractors.
Maybe it is the need for a professional eye to choose a proper color scheme or an adequate style for your home. An expert can visualize the finished project whether residential or commercial and help with logistics.
Some clients love a hands-on experience from start to finish. Others prefer a hands-off approach and like to be surprised at the completion of the job.
A white kitchen -magazine style- might feel beautiful to some, sterile to others and a nightmare to clean for some people.
We are all different and in the end, this is a very personal experience. Whether the project is a single room or an entire house, your interior designer should be asking in depth questions. After all, the space needs to be functional and beautiful for you.
I believe in making my clients feel comfortable. I pay attention, listening carefully and am honest in my assessment of the project. We will be spending many hours together and I want to ensure that it is an enjoyable experience.
