Golf Course Main Living Fireplace

This is a beautiful house by a Gulf Course in the greater Seattle area. After we lowered the floor in the living room, we realized the pipes and ducting running under the fireplace couldn’t be moved. So the fireplace design needed to hide them. The built in bench that spans the entire wall, was created for that reason. It is capped with a beautiful natural stone called Antracite. The fireplace wall itself was built out a few inches to give it dimension, the cladding product is Dekton ultra compact surface in Trillium Color. The floor is a showstopper wide plank American walnut.

Golf Course Sitting Room Fireplace

Formal, but traveled; somber, but with character. These few words represent the mood of this sitting room. The fireplace is the focal point and no detail about it was left to chance. The material is Breccia Versilia Italian marble, the hearth is inset into the floor, smoothly transitioning to the wood floor. The carved edges and the miter exposed corners make this fireplace appear to be carved from an entire marble block rather than a simple slab. The original bottom edge of the firebricks inside the fireplace were damaged, so we clad them with Brazilian Soapstone.
